Phillipe Chariole Buy

Sophisticated open veins

"Half hidden by the suburban traffic as the shade of a road bridge, then walk among cypress church of the Immaculate Conception."
Thus began his note, back in December 2006, Sergio Kierman in supplement m2 (square meter) of Página/12.
Today, as in December 2006 as 70 or as a mid-century, the "Pure" is still among its pines ... but with this very, very, different.
But this story I have from the beginning in order to give it the importance I give this story. Garay out there singing!
Back in 1580, when Garay made the second founding of Buenos Aires, a quota that came by land traversed these hills for the first time since the height of the land was easy to spot the river where the ships came to the English.
A few years later a messenger from the king of Spain should establish a route to organize an e-mule came to Lima, when used to describe that trip said: When you leave the capital, you must go to the village of Las Conchas through a mountain of Talas and native plants and wildlife. That forest or woodland to which he referred was neither more nor less than what is now General Pacheco, Talar trunks and a portion of Don Torcuato. This was approximately 1765.
Between 1820 and 1830 appears on the scene an army colonel to the state claiming lands in this area where he developed a farm that at mid-century had an approximate area of \u200b\u200b6600 m2. That colonel was a man named Angel Pacheco.
Angel Pacheco died in 1869 and since then his son Joseph Philip inherits the ranch house, which today is the country El Talar, and start up a series of buildings among which are the castle, schools, post , shops and the Church. May 5, 1886, the date of the founding of the church, the Immaculate Conception. This more than
short summary which outlines a little happened in that time I rescued two things I want to emphasize: The Mount of Talas and native plants and the Church, "La Purisima."
remember when I was too young to accompany my mom to get my sister to kindergarten functioning in the church, the Immaculate Conception. I loved going every day and I was amazed by the natural forest that was there. Neither knew these giant trees and native wild plants had a story recently from larger knew. I just wanted to go and climb these trees and feel free to fly from branch to branch. These hardy and long arms that hung to the floor, the huge gap giving the feeling of being in a forest, moist and fresh.
Time passed and some time later, not much, I was on patrol. A group of kids, as we had no more than 11 years, running and playing with such unknown plants that gave us a feeling of being in another world, of living an adventure film.
The logging, pine trees, wild foliage with long vines of our lives were an unknown world and eager to enjoy it. Go through the tunnel, that tunnel of fifteen meters for us was endless miles. On the one hand the wonderful and mysterious foliage in front of the entrance to the passageway and there to see the output, a dim light at the end and leave other small grove full of reeds and natural bush.
always remember his father John who told us we had to take care of that place and there were many plants that had been planted there and especially that nature was all, if everyone. And so that although we climbed trees and we tied ropes always had special care as well as being special plants of the forest was our fantasy that every 11 year old boy was in his dreams. It was a magical place that someone had given to the community.
Some time later I got to the communion and there was. Back to the Virgin. That I was lucky. Catechetical groups sharing special moments under the shade of the foliage just as special. Beyond
time, the confirmation in the Immaculate Conception. Lots of teenagers everywhere in the park the parish. These forays into the crypt of the Pacheco with all the suspense worthy of a film Hitchcook, rays of sun between these branches centennial, camps among the huge eucalyptus and first romances under the tree.
's father John, sisters Rita and Angelita, icons of that era. They were with us when we went confirmation catechists and all we did surrounded by spectacular forest that gave us so much joy. Then came
The new priests: Abel Caride, Miguel Calvo, Alejandro Soiza, the Taboada (Rolfi and Paul), Adrian Martin Fassi Santarelli and others. All this marked a stage in Pacheco wanted, our Immaculate Conception.
Many years later I became engaged and got married at the Immaculate Conception. We baptize our children in the Purisima and took communion.
whole life around the church of Pacheco. The temple which since 1886 is there, between those towering cypress trees and surrounded by indigenous afforestation Talas and also dating from that time but ...
-always has to be a but?? and if there is but it is because something happened, "
... usually the" but " invalidate the above, it is not my idea. I want this but it means reconsidering, thinking before acting. Sometimes being impulsive can ruin. Martin
After Fassi came as pastor to the Immaculate Father Jorge Eduardo Schening ... and ... emmm ... uh, I like following complicated ... ...
as saying that "deforested everything"! Oh nooo ... you can not do what you did. Sorry I could not explain what it meant all that space which disappeared for us, for the community of Pacheco.
whole community of Pacheco, the old community, the original Pacheco, proud of his roots only knows how painful it was to see the park from shaven church.
was as if you had a beard a lifetime and you had to shave for the photo of the document. Not only trees and weeding podaste few weeds also cut part of our history and part of the history of Pacheco.
As I can do to make you feel you made a mistake, that nothing you do in this place will look as good as the grove was there. How can I say that was the last place Pacheco retaining part of our history, our roots. KO'd
nature 250 years ago English had seen those searching for a route to Lima. How can I say ... how to explain ... how??
This is Pacheco. San Fernando is neither nor Carapachay is Pacheco. Not detract to any community. We are neither better nor worse. We Pacheco and have a story to have respect as well as the San Fernando and Carapachay.
In this place where I was fortunate to live, just as you do for some years and then you'll go the other way and others will come. But whatever you do in the community of Pacheco go down in history as the priest who dropped off the face of the earth the last native forest had. A shame, a shame.
I'm sad. Guillermo
